Best Armor Enchantments in RLCraft

Let’s learn the best armor enchantments you can get in RLCraft. This Minecraft modpack has a lot to offer in terms of new content and there are quite a few things that can help you on your way to becoming OP in RLCraft. Some very good armor sets are available but it’s really the enchantments that will push you from being strong to near enough immortal. In this guide we’ll teach you all about the best armor enchantments in RLCraft.

Best general RLCraft armor enchantments

There are several enchantments you’ll be putting on every piece of armor so we’ll cover those first before delving into the enchantments for specific pieces of your armor set.

• Advanced Protection IV
• Advanced Mending
• Advanced/Burning Thorns III
• Unbreaking III

Advanced Protection and Advanced Mending are both simply better variants than their vanilla counterparts. Advanced Protection is INCREDIBLY rare so if you see it hold on to it until you have a good set of gear to put it on! I’ve only found Advanced Mending from villager trades.

Advanced and Burning Thorns is down to preference. If you’re going for an Ash Destroyer weapon build then go Burning Thorns. Otherwise I tend to split it two and two with Burning Thorns on chest and head.

Unbreaking is a little unnecessary as the Advanced Mending will keep it as essentially 100% all of the time. Might as well throw it on there though…

Best RLCraft armor enchantments for your head

These are actually the same as vanilla, other than the fact that you will be getting advanced variants for the general enchantments as above.

• Respiration III
• Aqua Affinity

Best RLCraft armor enchantments for your chest

It’s all about Strengthened Vitality V!!! Strengthened Vitality is OP. Strengthened Vitality might be the single best enchantment in RLCraft. Change my mind.

• Strengthened Vitality V
• Inner Berserk IV

Strengthened Vitality increases your max HP depending on your current max HP. 17 hearts is the absolute most you can gain from Strengthened Vitality, which is pretty insane!

Inner Berserk will increase damage the lower your health is. This makes these two enchantments pretty powerful together although with Advanced Protection you won’t get hurt too much.

Best RLCraft armor enchantments for your legs

I would NOT get Evasion unless you can manipulate the config on the server/ world you are playing on. By default the Evasion enchantment will force you to do a directional jump when it procs. This can be turned off in config but if you can’t do that it’s incredibly annoying.

• Agility II

Agility is a great enchantment that increases your movement speed.

Best RLCraft armor enchantments for your feet

The feet have the most new enchantments and with all of them combined fall damage will become a thing of the past!

• Advanced Feather Falling IV
• Depth Strider
• Light Weight III
• High Jump II
• Magma Walker II

Light Weight will both reduce fall damage and increase the distance you need to fall before fall damage will occur.

High Jump, well, makes you jump high…

Magma Walker is more optional and comes down to preference. It can be very useful as it allows you to walk on lava and take no damage. However as there are items like the Dragon’s Eye that make you immune to lava you might not want to pick this up.
